The Challenge

The challenge for this hackathon is to build an AI product incorporating Anthropic's Claude. Ideal use cases include Customer Service, Legal, Coaching, Search, Back-Office, and Sales. Each team that submits complete project will be eligible to keep access to API.

Claude is a versatile AI language model that can be integrated into any product or toolchain, offering natural conversations, answer generation, text processing, and workflow automation. To gain access to Claude, please complete the Early Access form using the same email you registered with for the event. Remember, the API keys are for evaluation purposes only, and commercial use is not permitted.

Stable Diffusion is a latent text-to-image diffusion model capable of generating stylized and photo-realistic images.


An encoder-decoder architecture model is a powerful speech recognition and translation model trained on massive amounts of multilingual data. It can also identify languages, provide phrase-level timestamps, and transcribe multilingual speech to text.

Multilingual Semantic Search

A text embedding model, represents text meaning as numbers, which can effectively handle multiple languages.

🗓️ Where and when

The hackathon will take place from May 26 till June 2. Over the day, you will gain unique insight from mentors, and engage in workshops, and other sessions with lablab pros. The hackathon will take place on the platform and Discord server.

Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of previous AI or coding experience! We encourage anyone with a passion for AI or an interest in exploring how it can be used in their field to join.

          Who can join the Hackathon?

          We welcome domain experts from all industries, not just AI or tech. Successful AI solutions require a combination of technical expertise and domain knowledge. Coding experience is recommended.

          Do I need a team?

          You are welcome to join as a team or solo. If solo, we still encourage you to look for a team before the event, but ultimately it is your choice. We recommend you to join the Deep Learning Labs Discord channel: and posting in the #looking-for-team channel to get to know your potential future team members.

          Do I need a Github account?

          It is recommended. At least one team member should have a Github account. You can create one for free if you don't already have one. We have recorded a 5-min guide for beginners on creating a GitHub account, feel free to check it out!

          Nano platinum antibacterial

          AI technology can be used to model the use of nanoplatinum in antimicrobial applications. By analyzing the physical and chemical properties of nanoplatinum and its mechanisms of interaction with bacteria and human cells, the effectiveness of nanoplatinum in the treatment of bacterial infections can be predicted. Also, AI technology can use big data analysis to explore the optimal drug delivery of nanoplatinum and optimize its application route and dose to improve its efficacy and reduce adverse effects in patients. In addition, AI technology can be used to monitor and predict the drug metabolism and side effects of nanoplatinum to develop safer and more effective treatment plans. Through these applications, AI technology can greatly enhance the value of nanoplatinum in the field of antimicrobial applications.

          Rimworld - Claude collab

          Claude is an AI assistant developed by Anthropic that can understand natural language and generate coherent responses in a conversational context. It is trained on a massive dataset using self-supervised learning which allows it to develop a broad range of knowledge and capabilities. Rimworld is a popular sci-fi colony simulation game where players control characters in a futuristic space western setting. The game generates stories and events that shape the player's experience in an unscripted manner. This type of emergent narrative is engaging but can sometimes feel repetitive after many hours of gameplay. A storytelling modification for Rimworld aims to enhance the narrative experience using AI such as Claude. The mod can generate more varied and complex story events by understanding the current game state and inventing new scenarios that fit within the established lore and tone of the game world. For example, instead of generic events like "battery explosion" or "colony marriage", the AI may create multi-part storylines following specific characters, introduce compelling villains and plot twists, or build up and resolve long-running mysteries. The integration works by feeding details about the player's colony, characters, tech progression, and past events what had regular storyteller into Claude. The AI then responds with suggestions for new story beats that can be translated into in-game events, quests, items descriptions, and character interactions. Instead of pulling from a fixed set of possibilities, each new game experience can feature completely unique stories shaped by the players' actions and the AI's limitless creativity. With the help of natural language generation, Rimworld can achieve new heights of unscripted storytelling and truly feel like every player is experiencing their own science fiction epic.




          "UniLinguaAI" aims to leverage OpenAI's GPT API or Anthropic's Claude API to create a sophisticated AI translator capable of understanding and replicating linguistic nuances that extend beyond the literal meanings. This innovative approach is driven by our ambition to provide not just translations, but true understanding of context, dialects, styles, accents, and cultural backgrounds. Key features include real-time translation for instant feedback and interaction, and language auto-detection to improve ease of use. To cater to a diverse global audience, we offer comprehensive multilingual support. We also provide cultural explanations as a unique feature to give users a deeper understanding of cultural references in the text they're translating. Users can customize the style and tone of their translations, allowing for a personalized translation experience that meets their specific needs. In addition, we provide a contextual glossary feature, allowing users to save and learn from challenging translations. For a diverse range of user needs, we also include speech-to-text and text-to-speech functionality. Our service leverages the large 100k context size of Claude API, allowing for deeper understanding and accurate translation of even complex topics. The system will automatically identify the translation topic and create a corresponding topic tab, ensuring that translated sentences align perfectly with the user's context. With "UniLinguaAI", we're redefining the language translation experience. Our key strength is the utilization of Claude API's 100k context size, which allows a more profound understanding of the translation topic.           I work educational technology, a problem we have currently is a influx of student devices being broken (we're not a one-to-one school, all devices are shared) without the knowledge of which school is causing the most damage in cost. With access to Claude, I'd like to implement a program with Claude to address this problem. I'd do this likely using excel/spreadsheet and a RFI board-tag tracking system. I've not brought this up to my boss in fear Claude may not be capable of such a feat- but I'm hoping with access and a bit of brain power, I can manage to get it to work. With Claude's assistance, my primary goal is to exchange the more expensive devices of trouble schools for lesser devices; Such as Lenovo Thinkpad 15's (L15s) that cost upward to ~$1000 a piece- I wish to find which school (and maybe classrooms) break the most of these and replace said devices with much cheaper alternatives. Chromebooks for example cost around ~$100, so in turn of one broken L15, it'd take 10 broken chromebooks until the price would match a broken L15s. My idea is to feed Claude a ton of information that we're in the process of getting and making Claude output more eligible and compact information. Maybe even use Claude to provide solutions with trouble schools/classrooms if they're capable of doing so.

          I am a brazilian aspiring writer and for some time now I have been exploring AI LLM to assist me in my writing related endeavors. AI can be a very useful tool for fully extracting the potential of your creativity, allowing for very in-depth world and character building. Although tested with other AI's, Claude seems to be exceptionaly good at this, both the prosaic and poetic aspects far exceeding those of the competition. I believe access to Claude would be very benefitial to my project and the Hackathon itself a great opportunity to get a step closer to my goals of becoming a sucessful writer some day.

          We are a team dedicated to creating immersive and interactive gaming experiences. Our latest project is a text-based role-playing novel game that allows users to interact with the game's characters and environment, shaping their own unique storylines. Our game aims to offer a rich narrative experience, and we believe that the Claude-100K model API can be a valuable tool in achieving this goal. We plan to use the model API to generate dynamic and engaging text-based interactions and narratives. This includes but is not limited to: Character Interactions: Utilizing the model API, we aim to create non-player characters (NPCs) that can carry out complex and engaging conversations with the player. These interactions will be context-aware and responsive to the player's inputs. Narrative Generation: The API will also be used to generate a diverse range of narratives, including descriptions of environments, events, and plot developments, based on the player's decisions and actions within the game. Decision Making: We also intend to use the API to help generate meaningful decision prompts for the player, providing a deeper level of immersion and engagement. Game Guidance: The API can be used to provide helpful tips and guidance to players, making the game more accessible to new players while also providing depth for experienced ones. By using the Claude-100K model API, we hope to provide a more immersive and engaging experience for our players, offering them a unique narrative journey in every playthrough.
