The backend Dagster pipeline is tied into the Reddit API via the praw library, allowing for complex and scheduled queries to build up a database of high-quality posts to draw from. This can easily be extended by using any Dagster resources or operations, allowing for plug-and-play integration to any other data source supported by dagster (or an easily-implementable Dagster resource definition) you want to include in the Only Newsletter. Describe the trends, topics, or subjects you want to hear about and Gemini will check the cached list of high-quality data from previous queries and perform any of the defined pipeline runs for up-to-the-minute data from Reddit (and soon, Discord and Twitter) to draw from. Gemini then constructs a high-quality newsletter specifically tailored to the content you want to know about and serves it to you via a Flask SPA built with Alpine.js, HTMX, and Tailwind for a maximally-lightweight turnaround time. In the future, I'd like to integrate email signups and define Gemini in the Dagster scheduling resources so I can finally mass-unsubscribe from all the newsletters clogging my inbox to keep up with this stuff -- and stick to reading the Only AI Newsletter.

LiteLLM manages a hot-swap between, by default, Gemini and GPT-4-V (but any of the 100+ litellm models could be chosen) for comparison of behaviors. Litellm enables any open source model to call functions through it's openai proxy server. The included function is used to generate images via fal.ai's realtime lcm endpoint in response to user requests, resulting in a rapid iteration cycle between user and vision model -- generate an image, show it to vision model with requested changes, model re-generates on a realtime endpoint. Trulens evals allow for metrics comparisons between various models on vision tasks in this iteration cycle.

He can handle any text or image related request, such as summarizing, translating, captioning, searching, etc. He can also generate text or image content based on user input or preferences. He is versatile, creative, and efficient. Open-Sourcer: The code wizard and the tech guru of the team. He can write code in various languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C#, etc. He can also run code through a Python interpreter and display the output. He has voice activation feature, which means he can listen to user commands and execute them accordingly. He is skilled, intelligent, and helpful. Apelles: The artist and the visionary of the team. He can create stunning graphic artworks based on user prompts or suggestions. He can also modify or enhance existing images using various filters and effects. He is talented, imaginative, and expressive
