Build with AutoGPT Hackathon

Start with AutoGPT

AutoGPT streamlines AI development, emphasizing intelligent design. Leading in AI metrics, they provide intuitive interfaces without compromising depth. Dive into their vision for the AI future!

Hackathon Challenge

To win the ultimate prize and the hearts of the people, teams will put their technical prowess to the test. Using the benchmark, teams will aim to design agents that will compete for superiority within the arena!

Build in one of 4 categories:

  • Scrape and Synthesize
  • Data Mastery
  • Coding Excellence
  • Open-ended Agent Protocol

Your task is to develop an agent that takes natural language input and can handle tasks, either generalist like AutoGPT or specific as with TaskGPT. Please ensure that all submissions are open source and adhere to the MIT License.

Weaviate Support for Free Access

Weaviate, an open-source vector database, ensures scalability for agents with free access privileges. Exclusive mentor support during the Hackathon sessions further enhances project success, making sure your agent stands out in the competition.

Getting Started:

Clone AutoGPT

Begin by cloning the AutoGPT repo. This will give you boilerplate that integrates with the benchmark and AutoGPT provided user interface, along with a host of monitoring and logging tools to assist you throughout the development process.

Benchmarking & Leaderboard

As you progress, test your agent's performance against the benchmark. The hackathon will be evaluated first and foremost using benchmarks. However, when needed, human judges will also step in to ensure a comprehensive assessment. Let's see what you've got!

Open Source Commitment

At the heart of the AutoGPT community lies a strong commitment to open collaboration. We kindly request that all submissions follow this ethos by being open source and adhering to the MIT License.

Hackathon Rules

Important!

Agent Creation via AutoGPT

The creation of new agents should strictly be facilitated through the AutoGPT repo.

Starting Point

Participants may begin with an existing agent or start fresh.

Agent Protocol

All agents designed must follow the agent protocol in order to be benchmarked and to utilize the user interface. All agents cloned through the AutoGPT repo will automatically implement this along with other useful tools.

Benchmarking

Participants will be provided OpenAI credits to run the benchmarks. This is essential to rank and submit entries onto the leaderboard.

Scoring

The performance of agents will be determined using benchmark.

Final Submission

To be eligible for evaluation, participants must submit their work through the lablab.ai team page, including a valid GitHub link. Your agent will then undergo benchmark testing for the final evaluation by the organizers' team.

Note: To maximize your chances, refer to the provided resources regularly and ensure compliance with the hackathon rules. It's not just about creating an agent; it's about making it the best in the arena. Good luck, and may the best agent win!
