Regulated & High-Stakes Workflows

Quorum turns the slow, manual investment-committee process into a team of specialist AI agents that collaborate — and govern themselves — entirely through Band. Every asset manager makes high-stakes calls the same way: analysts compile research, a bull and a bear argue, risk and compliance weigh in, a portfolio manager decides, and someone documents the decision for regulators. It's slow, inconsistent, and — under the EU AI Act and SEC recordkeeping rules — that audit trail is legally required. Quorum runs the whole committee as ten specialist agents, each on its own model across five vendors (OpenAI, DeepSeek, xAI, and Google via the AI/ML API; open-weight Qwen via Featherless). A Portfolio Manager convenes the meeting and routes a live case file — built from real-time Yahoo Finance data — to a Research Analyst, then to Bull and Bear analysts who must rebut each other. A Risk Officer holds an enforceable compliance gate. Crucially, the committee isn't a fixed pipeline: when risk findings demand it, the PM uses Band's peer discovery to recruit the right specialist — forensic accounting, valuation, or export controls — into the room mid-meeting. Deadlocks escalate to a Chief Risk Officer, and a standing Independent Auditor attests the decision before a human signs off. Band is the only channel between agents: every handoff is a real, mention-routed agent-to-agent message — there's no shared database, so the case file travels inside the messages. The result is a faster, consistent, fully auditable BUY/HOLD/SELL decision with a complete, replayable trail. An interactive Streamlit demo lets anyone replay real committee runs on NVDA, EA, and AAPL.
