About

Every AI system eventually hits the same wall: rate limits, bot detection, JavaScript-rendered pages, geo-blocks, and stale data.

Bright Data gives builders access to the infrastructure needed to collect, reason over, and act on live public web data at scale.

For this hackathon, participants will use Bright Data’s full infrastructure stack to build AI agents, data systems, and production-ready web data infrastructure powered by real-time web access.

The goal is simple: build what was not possible before when AI agents were locked, throttled, or limited by stale data.

AI Builder Weekend

Challenge

Build on Production Infrastructure. Solve Real Enterprise Problems.

AI is moving into the enterprise. That’s where the hard problems are, the budgets are real, and the stakes are high enough to matter.

The web is the largest, most continuously updated source of business intelligence on the planet and Bright Data gives you the infrastructure to access it reliably, at scale, without breaking.

This is a direct challenge: unlock the web for your AI agents and build something a real enterprise team would actually depend on.

  • Projects are not limited to one track. A single submission can span multiple tracks.
  • Bright Data Tool Integration is required. Your project must demonstrably use at least one Bright Data product.
📈

Track 1: GTM Intelligence

Unlock the web for the teams that drive revenue.

Sales, marketing, and revenue operations run on market knowledge. The web has all of it in real time and most GTM teams still can’t access it reliably or at scale.

This track focuses on systems that:

  • • Continuously monitor competitors, buying signals, and market movements in real time
  • • Enrich accounts and surface intelligence directly into GTM workflows and tools
  • • Replace manual research with always-on, structured web intelligence
  • • Give AI agents the live web context they need to act on behalf of revenue teams

This track is for builders working on:

  • • AI agents that research accounts and track competitor moves autonomously
  • • Competitive monitoring tools tracking pricing, messaging, and hiring signals
  • • Account and lead enrichment systems delivering structured intelligence into CRM
  • • Market research tools synthesizing live web signals into actionable briefs
  • • Buying intent systems surfacing signals before they appear in any vendor feed
  • • Social listening platforms monitoring brand health and share of voice at scale
Bright Data tools: MCP Server, Web Scraper API, SERP API, Web Unlocker, Scraping Browser
💹

Track 2: Finance & Market Intelligence

Unlock the web for the teams that make financial decisions.

Pricing, risk, procurement, and planning depend on data that reflects right now — not last week's export. It's all out there, continuously updated, rarely structured. The teams that get to it first, reliably, win.

This track focuses on systems that:

  • • Ingest and structure live financial web data into analytical workflows
  • • Combine signals from multiple live sources into structured intelligence objects
  • • Deliver alternative data at the coverage and frequency real decisions require
  • • Give AI agents the live financial context they need to reason over current reality

This track is for builders working on:

  • • Alternative data pipelines aggregating job postings, pricing trends, and web traffic signals
  • • Filing and regulatory monitors that detect, parse, and deliver structured alerts
  • • Competitive pricing systems tracking price changes across markets in real time
  • • Earnings intelligence tools cross-referencing web signals to surface pre-earnings indicators
  • • Supplier and vendor risk systems monitoring financial health and leadership signals at scale
  • • Multi-source synthesis engines delivering structured company or sector intelligence objects
Bright Data tools: Web Scraper API, SERP API, Web Unlocker, Scraping Browser, MCP Server
🛡️

Track 3: Security & Compliance

Unlock the web for the teams that manage risk.

Threats, regulatory changes, third-party risks, and brand exposure don’t surface in internal systems — they surface across the open web, on sources no SIEM was built to monitor.

This track focuses on systems that:

  • • Continuously monitor the open web for threats, compliance signals, and risk indicators
  • • Deliver structured, actionable intelligence to the teams responsible for acting on it
  • • Operate at the source coverage and bypass capability that internal tools cannot match
  • • Give AI agents the live web access they need to investigate and alert without human intervention

This track is for builders working on:

  • • Threat intelligence pipelines monitoring open web sources for org-specific risk indicators
  • • Regulatory monitoring systems tracking compliance changes and delivering structured alerts
  • • Third-party risk tools continuously assessing supplier and vendor exposure across the web
  • • Brand and data exposure monitors detecting leaked credentials or reputational threats early
  • • AI agents that investigate threat indicators and return structured risk assessments autonomously
  • • Compliance systems parsing regulatory updates and alerting teams when action is required
Bright Data tools: Web Unlocker, Scraping Browser, SERP API, MCP Server, Web Scraper API

Your mission is to build and launch an AI-native product using X402 Payments - a programmable payments infrastructure designed for the next generation of agentic and automated economies.

In this edition of Launch & Fund Your Startup, you’ll have 6 days to validate an idea, build a working prototype, and present a credible path toward real users and on-chain revenue.

This challenge is open to everyone - from early-stage founders to existing startups looking to expand or pivot their products.

Your submission should clearly show how your solution integrates or reimagines X402 Payments in the context of real-world financial interaction

Tracks
Choose one - or mix and match. Each track explores a core use case of programmable payments in the age of agentic systems:

🤖 Agent-to-Agent Payments

Challenge: Build a system where two or more agents autonomously trigger and settle payments—e.g., for usage-based services, access control, or dynamic pricing. Your product should demonstrate a working agentic payment loop with minimal human input.

🧑‍💼Consumer AI Payments

Challenge: Develop an AI assistant that can make payments on a user’s behalf—with built-in rules like spending limits, approval checkpoints, or identity verification (KYC/AML). Showcase how your product handles decision-making, compliance, and safeguards.

🏢 B2B FinOps & Compliance

Challenge: Build a tool for businesses to manage real-time payments and financial operations—like tracking cash flow, enforcing policies, or generating audit-ready records. Highlight automation, accuracy, and visibility into payment activity.

🛒 On-chain Commerce Primitives

Challenge: Launch a digital product or service with a built-in revenue model using X402. Think: token-gated access, real-time rev-splits, or instant payouts to contributors. Your prototype should demonstrate seamless, trustless commerce flows.
