Sentinel is an autonomous open web threat and risk detection system built for security, compliance, and vendor risk teams. Powered entirely by Bright Data's infrastructure, Sentinel continuously monitors sources that no internal SIEM or firewall was built to reach. Sentinel runs three parallel AI agents. The Threat Surface Monitor scans paste sites, breach forums, and open web sources for credential leaks and exposed assets tied to a target organization, using Bright Data's Web Unlocker to bypass bot protection and SERP API to surface signals across the web in real time. The Regulatory Change Tracker uses Bright Data's Scraping Browser to render and parse JavaScript-heavy regulator portals — including DORA, NIS2, GDPR, and SEC pages — detecting compliance updates and delivering structured alerts with deadlines and recommended actions. The Vendor Risk Radar monitors a portfolio of suppliers continuously, combining SERP API searches and Web Unlocker fetches to detect early signals of financial distress, leadership exits, security breaches, and litigation before they surface in internal systems. All five Bright Data tools are used in production: Web Unlocker for anti-bot bypass, Scraping Browser for JS-rendered pages, SERP API for real-time web search, Web Scraper API for structured dataset extraction, and MCP Server for agent-driven ad-hoc intelligence queries. Every detection produces a structured risk object — severity, confidence score, affected entity, indicators found, and a specific recommended action — delivered instantly to Slack and formatted as SIEM-compatible JSON. Sentinel gives enterprise security and compliance teams always-on, structured web intelligence that was previously impossible to access at scale.
