Meowster Helper - AI Pet Companion

Meowster Helper is a comprehensive, multi-modal AI companion designed to help you better understand and care for your mysterious feline "Meowsters". Built for the AMD Developer Hackathon ACT II, this system bridges the gap between pet perception and autonomous medical intervention. Because pets naturally mask their pain, early distress signals are incredibly difficult for owners to register. To solve this, Meowster Helper processes real-time visual and acoustic data, such as facial expressions, body language, and vocalizations, to accurately predict how your pet is feeling. The application functions through a highly integrated, five-step lifecycle: ✴ Perception: Users interact with a dynamic 2.5D isometric pet room dashboard and can seamlessly capture 10-second video clips or images of their pets. ✴ Analysis: Custom Computer Vision and acoustic models evaluate the captured media to detect emotions and subtle health flags. ✴ Ingestion: The mobile frontend streams this perception data to the Agentic Orchestrator using real-time Server-Sent Events (SSE). ✴ Reasoning: Specialized LLM subagents utilize a self-discovering Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool registry to manage complex tasks like medical triage and inventory lookup. ✴ Action: In emergencies, the system automatically locates the nearest vet clinic, handles appointment communications via WhatsApp, and provides text-to-speech personalized aftercare advice.
