NaijaAgri-AI is a smart farm assistant built for Nigerian farmers, many of whom lack access to agronomists, financial advisors, or reliable internet. The app combines an AI chat assistant with image-based crop diagnosis: farmers can type a question or upload a photo of a diseased plant, and the assistant responds with practical, affordable advice in English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, or Pidgin. Under the hood, NaijaAgri-AI runs on Fireworks AI, powered by AMD GPU infrastructure, using two models: one for conversational farming advice, and a vision model for photo-based diagnosis of crop and livestock issues. The backend is a containerized Flask app, making it easy to deploy and scale. Beyond diagnosis, the product roadmap includes USSD access for farmers without smartphones, satellite-based farm health scanning, and AI-driven credit scoring to help farmers access financing addressing both agricultural and financial inclusion for Nigeria's 70+ million farmers.
