Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of leading global, world-class teams to solve real-world problems using emerging technologies for some of the world’s best organizations, including Paypal and Kaiser Permanente. I’ve proven myself to be collaborative, flexible, and adaptable while providing thought leadership in the areas of engineering, artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML), data migration, and predictive analytics. My colleagues know me as a purpose-driven, energetic professional who can seamlessly carry global, cross-cultural responsibilities while infusing the company culture with positivity and a customer focus. One career highlight involves managing a hackathon-style data migration project when eBay and Paypal split into two separate entities. The program involved more than 100+ Engineers, petabytes of data, and round-the-clock execution across global teams for 4 months. Ultimately, through multiple, incremental environments, the project was a success. At Kaiser, I’ve spearheaded an effort to move our critical systems supporting clinicians in providing vital healthcare to our patients as close to 100% availability as possible. To overcome issues related to transitioning applications from active to failover servers, I’ve initiated a phased approach to implementing active/active architecture, where our multizone failover stack is also actively used to ensure all components are continuously at peak performance. I am leading change management to drive the adoption of this new technology and upskill our engineers accordingly. I’ve been a pace-setter in generating unique solutions, testing new ideas, and promoting engineering excellence through collaborative brainstorming, clear frameworks and measurements, and consistent leadership. If you’re seeking someone like me who truly embraces servant leadership and creates order from chaos, let’s discuss how your needs and my capabilities align.
I work as a Pre-sales Engineer in a technology company. My role is to take customer requirements in what are servers for a datacenter for example, and define what is the most suitable product of a brand, for example Dell. A few weeks ago I got an email from a customer, and I thought, "what if I ask ChatGPT to tell me which is the most suitable server?" I did, and he sent me back a product. Then I saw that a more experienced colleague replied to the customer with the same product that ChatGPT told me. And then I thought it would be good to create an AI based tool focused on that, take requirements, analyze them and define the best product for the customer.
