CreatorOS - An AI Operating System for Creators

CreatorOS is an AI operating system designed to help creators move from an initial idea to production-ready creative artifacts through structured understanding rather than one-shot generation. Unlike conventional AI assistants that generate outputs immediately, CreatorOS follows a multi-stage workflow. Every conversation is observed, reasoned about, and distilled into a structured understanding of the creator's intent before any production begins. This understanding becomes the foundation for generating artifacts such as film concepts, with every artifact preserving lineage and remaining connected to the creator's evolving workspace. The platform is built around a modular Production Engine architecture, allowing different generation providers to be swapped without changing the system design. For this hackathon, CreatorOS integrates AMD Fireworks through its OpenAI-compatible API, enabling high-quality AI generation while preserving the same architecture. If the AI service becomes unavailable, the system automatically falls back to a deterministic template engine, ensuring uninterrupted operation. During development, the AMD integration required only configuration changes rather than architectural changes, demonstrating the flexibility of the Production Engine abstraction. Using DeepSeek V4 Flash on AMD Fireworks reduced generation time to approximately 10 seconds while producing rich, structured Film Concepts that include loglines, themes, characters, world-building, narrative arcs, and visual style. CreatorOS is more than a chatbot or content generator. It is designed as a persistent operating system for creative work, where conversation becomes understanding, understanding becomes production, and every artifact becomes part of a growing creative workspace. This architecture provides a foundation that can expand beyond film into music, publishing, education, games, and other creative domains while maintaining context continuity across the entire creative lifecycle.
