Project OpenMed

The platform also recommends verified doctors based on the symptoms provided, ensuring users are connected with the right medical professionals when needed. OpenMed has three types of users: patients, doctors, and an admin. Key features include AI-powered symptom analysis, a smart booking system, and secure Google authentication. The goal is to provide a seamless and cost-effective healthcare experience. Future plans for the app include multi-language support, image-based symptom analysis, and voice and video call integration

"While the project is well presented and documented, it seems like the core functionalities where developed 3 months prior to the hackathon (i.e. May 2025) as per Gitlab, with little changes in the code changing the LLM from Gemini to GPT-5. I couldn't find what new was implemented in the code itself. But regardless, the chatbot is able to detect basic diseases easily as compared to more detailed and rare ones. All the best. "

"The app seems to be functioning quite well. It's a little annoying that it's locked behind a registration with my Google account. The presentation is nice, the topic is pretty widely cut, and it's just so hard to create a project that would actually be implemented in real-world that is medicine related. I like that the users are divided into cohorts into doctors and just normal people and one more group. But this might be also what really divides this into too many pieces a little bit for me. Too bad the project seems to be from May"
