ReimBand is a multi-agent reimbursement review system built for the Band of Agents Hackathon. It turns a traditionally manual finance workflow into a coordinated agent team. A Document Intake Agent extracts structured information from invoices, receipts, payment records, and PDF files using Qwen3-VL/OCR capabilities. A Policy Specialist Agent checks the reimbursement type against relevant rules, required materials, and compliance evidence. An Audit Reviewer Agent compares invoice and payment amounts, detects missing documents, flags risky items, and requests rechecks when information is uncertain. The project is designed for universities, enterprises, and organizations where reimbursement review is slow, fragmented, and error-prone. Instead of letting one chatbot make unsupported decisions, ReimBand uses Band Agentic Mesh to coordinate specialized agents through visible task handoffs, shared context, and review loops. The result is a clearer, more auditable workflow: documents are extracted, policies are retrieved, financial risks are checked, and the final result is explained with reasons and next actions.
