CareerOS- AI-Powered Career Development Platform

CareerOS is an AI-powered career development platform designed to help students, fresh graduates, and professionals make smarter career decisions through personalized AI guidance. The platform enables users to create an account, upload their resume, analyze their GitHub profile, and receive AI-generated insights about their technical strengths, weaknesses, and career readiness. Based on these analyses, CareerOS generates a personalized career roadmap tailored to the user's desired role, helping them identify the skills, technologies, and milestones required to achieve their goals. To further support career growth, the platform provides AI-generated interview preparation with technical, behavioral, and coding questions customized to the user's target role. An AI Career Assistant powered by Google's Gemini model offers real-time career guidance, learning recommendations, and answers to career-related questions. CareerOS follows a scalable microservice architecture with a React + Vite frontend deployed on Vercel, a Node.js/Express backend deployed on Render, a FastAPI AI service integrated with Gemini AI, and MongoDB Atlas as the cloud database. This architecture ensures scalability, modularity, and seamless AI integration. The project aims to bridge the gap between education and industry by providing intelligent, personalized, and accessible career guidance in one unified platform.
