Finguard 3.0

Finguard 3.0 is a comprehensive, AI-driven financial operations platform tailored specifically for small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kenya. The system utilizes a sophisticated multi-agent artificial intelligence framework to automate critical business workflows, including invoice extraction, transaction classification, budget monitoring, and payment reconciliation. The platform's foundation is a domain-driven monorepo featuring an event-driven architecture. The backend is built natively in Python with FastAPI, utilizing PostgreSQL as the primary source of truth and MongoDB as a fast read-model cache for its intelligence hub. Background processing and asynchronous messaging are handled efficiently by RabbitMQ and Celery. At the intelligence layer, Finguard relies on Google Gemma 4 models, orchestrated through a LangGraph Supervisor loop containing 10 specialized agents. These autonomous agents interact with external APIs, such as M-Pesa and KRA, to perform tasks ranging from deterministic tax audits to predictive cash-flow modeling. Finally, the system surfaces these insights via a Next.js frontend equipped with Generative UI components, allowing agents to stream interactive data visualizations and actionable advice directly into the user's dashboard.
