Forum — know where your team really stands, before the meeting. Big cross-functional moves go sideways for one reason: by the time everyone's in the room, the real tensions are buried. Sales says demand is fine; Operations knows the warehouses are full — and nobody reconciled it before the irreversible spend. Forum surfaces that before the meeting. Forum is a multi-agent system that prepares a decision. A department agent interviews the 3-4 people in each function through an adaptive, objective-driven conversation — it grades each answer, probes for specifics, corroborates claims across people (with the source masked to kill anchoring bias), and asks an open "what worries you that we haven't covered?" sweep to catch unknown-unknowns. Every figure is tool-grounded to a real record, so nothing is hallucinated; gaps are recorded as honest unknowns, never invented. The centerpiece: department agents then negotiate their conflicts live, agent-to-agent, in a band.ai room, moderated by a Coordinator that routes and judges but never relays content or cites numbers. They converge where they can and escalate genuine tradeoffs to humans — because agents prepare, people decide. The payoff is one shared, collaborative pre-meeting brief: what's settled, what we still don't know, and the decisions to make together — written as colleagues solving one problem, not opposing sides. Thin per-function prep cards go out before; after the meeting, decisions are captured and re-voiced into per-team email drafts, closing the loop into institutional memory. Built on band.ai as the coordination layer with real agent-to-agent handoffs, and cross-framework by design — a Claude Coordinator orchestrating MiniMax department agents.
