ProofTrader is an autonomous crypto trading agent built on Kraken CLI for structured, risk-controlled trading workflows. It combines a live frontend, a backend risk engine, PostgreSQL persistence, and a hosted runner that executes paper trading through Kraken CLI in the cloud. Instead of behaving like a black-box bot, ProofTrader is designed to make trade evaluation, execution flow, positions, balances, and system activity easier to monitor and review. The current product already supports paper trading initialization, spot and futures mode switching, strategy evaluation, AI-assisted decision support, hosted execution, positions tracking, dashboard monitoring, and signal or activity visibility. The platform is built around the idea that AI should assist within a bounded system, while backend risk controls and execution rules remain authoritative. ProofTrader is still evolving. Secure API key integration and the onchain proof layer are planned next. The goal is to make autonomous trading more practical, transparent, and easier to trust through a working product experience rather than a simple bot demo.
