About me

Vasu Jain is a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon Ads with roughly 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI applications. He currently designs and scales infrastructure handling millions of requests per second across Prime Video, live sports, and digital out-of-home advertising. A University of Florida alumnus, Vasu's hackathon roots run deep — from building CPR.VR, an immersive VR-based CPR training app, to pitching the concept that became Pause Ads, now live on Prime Video and serving millions of customers. He leads a team of 15 engineers, runs workshops on AI/ML, DevOps, and system design, mentors engineers through ADPList, and contributes to IAB Tech Lab working groups. Vasu is a Forbes Technology Council Executive Member, a Fellow of the BCS and the SCRS, an IEEE Senior Member, and a GRA Award recipient for his contributions to multi-tenant infrastructure design in distributed SaaS software. He is passionate about helping builders turn bold ideas into real products that matter.
