Technical Bio, I'm a Kenyan citizen by birth, living in the outcasts of Nairobi city, and I’m an aspirer of technology from my growth to current. My eagerness i.e (talent) and motive for technological aspects drove me to partake science related courses at several colleges; 1. Kenya Institute of Computer and Software Engineering Technology(KIC&ST), Nairobi -Diploma in Computer and Software Engineering Some of the Units covered: -Preventive maintenance -Corrective maintenance -Predictive maintenance -Evolutionary maintenance -Writing user manuals -Network maintenance -Set up computers and peripherals -Assemble systems etc… -Software installations and usage etc… 2. Kenya Institute of Professional Studies (KIPS), Nairobi -Higher diploma in Computer and Software Engineering. Some of the Units covered: -Preventive maintenance -Software Implementation -Predictive maintenance –Software development life cycle models -Software Modelling -Network maintenance -Set up computers and peripherals -Assemble systems etc… -Software installations and usage etc… -Software Design etc… Bootcamps I was also enrolled in the Ordin Curriculum Bootcamp where I did some frontend coding for about four months before joining the ALX Bootcamp study. Here at Ordin covered: Javascript Advanced HTML and CSS Ruby on Rails Databases Joining ALX This is where I got a GRIP mindset of all my learning processes. It gave me a staunch meaning of what a software developer should expect and be like. So far up to this point, I'm well versed in many environments as a backend engineer. Learning assembly language like C, and all the involved structures from functions and pointers to bit manipulation, variadic processes, and data structures is not a joke one could play around with. That is really a fundamental foundation of an engineer. Grasped basic foundational knowledge: C -low level Python -high level Javascript -high level DevOps -testing, and deployment Web and App servers etc… Dockers Source code management On-call systems REST API CI/CD Databases Static and Dynamic etc… Really appreciate the likes of our mentors and peers in project contribution and leveraging the process, ensuring we are all set. ALX program curriculum also taught me Personal values like; corporate, managerial skills, professionalism, integrity, philosophy, arduous work with minimal supervision, good communication skills, and time management. Coursera: Study by ITExperience, frontend development. skille gained: Javascript, ReactjS, HTML/CSS, bootstraps etc
