Travel Buddies (Prosus) emerges as the definitive solution to this challenge, consolidating the entire process into a single, intelligent, and collaborative web platform. Our mission is to transform the cumbersome task of planning into the exciting first step of the adventure. To achieve this, we integrate four technological pillars: Group Chat & Dedicated AI Agent: The interface is intelligently divided. A group chat space serves as a social hub for brainstorming and free-form discussion, capturing the specific desires for the trip. In parallel, a direct chat with a powerful AI agent allows the group to turn that conversation into action by requesting concrete plans and modifications. "Dual Context" Recommendations: The magic of Travel Buddies lies in its AI, which goes beyond generic recommendations. It uses a "Dual Context" model, merging the short-term memory of the chat conversation (what the group wants for this trip) with the long-term memory stored in our knowledge graph. Knowledge Graph: Through Neo4j, we build a dynamic profile for each user. This graph understands the DNA of each traveler: their passions (art, nature, gastronomy), budget, and travel style. This ensures that the proposed itinerary is not only coherent but also deeply personal. Real-Time Features: The platform comes alive with an interactive experience. The itinerary, visualized on a calendar or map, updates in real-time for all members as proposals are discussed. A democratic voting system ensures that every decision, from the flight to the final night's dinner, is reached by consensus, guaranteeing everyone feels part of the plan. From ideation to final booking, Travel Buddies orchestrates every step, turning chaos into collaboration and uncertainty into a perfect, shared itinerary.
