I’m a computer science undergraduate with hands-on experience building production-grade backend systems and AI-powered features. I enjoy taking ideas from concept to deployment, with a strong focus on backend development, system reliability, and practical problem-solving. Recently, I’ve worked on real-world projects involving web platforms, APIs, real-time systems, and applied AI, where my focus has been on building things that actually run, scale, and are used by people. Selected Projects & Work iWealthX – Worked on backend services, AI-powered customer support automation, and deployment pipelines. Contributed to redesigning the investor-facing website to clearly communicate the product offering, which led to the first qualified lead and measurable user engagement. Lume – Built a backend-focused real-time group chat application using Django, Django Channels, and WebSockets, supporting features like role-based access control, ban/unban logic, and real-time messaging. ideAI – Co-developed an AI-powered ideation platform using Django REST Framework and Next.js, integrating OpenAI’s GPT-4 API to generate project ideas, with a focus on backend logic, API handling, and deployment. ASL Hand Sign Detection System – Built a real-time American Sign Language recognition system using OpenCV and MediaPipe, integrating a Keras-based classification model trained on a mix of existing and custom-labeled gesture data to improve recognition of ambiguous ASL letters. I see challenges as opportunities to grow—whether that’s designing backend systems, improving performance, automating workflows, or learning new technologies when the problem demands it. I value building things end-to-end and understanding why systems behave the way they do, not just making them work.
