We're Team TerraSentinels part of MindsDB hackathon , on a mission to revolutionize land use monitoring with AI and geospatial data! Our project: Intelligent Land Use Monitoring Agent, aims to detect unauthorized land use, deforestation, and urban expansion in real-time by analyzing satellite images and large-scale geospatial datasets. We plan to use tech like MindsDB, Google Earth Engine, and TensorFlow, all wrapped in a sleek web interface with Flask. Granite Gurus Many Eyes is an extension of three previous Hackathons: Build Your AI Startup, Codestral, and Edge Runners. This Hackathon introduced two powerful principles: (1) Uniqueness and (2) Many Eyes, both of which were crucial in advancing the exploration of Multidimensional (MD) space. These principles were effectively demonstrated through a custom search engine built on top of IBM Granite, highlighting their transformative potential. The Principle of Uniqueness asserts that spatial points can be arranged in any configuration as long as the number of points remains constant and each point is unique. This principle underpins the 2D Infinite Plane, which aids in visualizing interactions in higher dimensions and emphasizes representing numeric values as symbols rather than numbers to reduce computational costs. The Principle of Many Eyes posits that knowing one aspect of a system allows for understanding the entire system, thanks to the symmetries in MD-space. Unlike traditional programming, where functions have a single input and output, MD-systems can yield multiple outputs from a single input by leveraging these symmetries. This was illustrated in our use of IBM Granite for pattern search, which returned multiple results due to MD-space symmetries, and then predicted the next pattern, showcasing the system's adaptability. Integrating IBM Granite with the 2D Infinite Mathematical solution creates a powerful combination that enhances search engine performance by reducing computational overhead, improving accuracy, and accelerating processing times. This approach not only offers a superior user experience but also aligns with sustainability and cost-saving goals, positioning the search engine as a leader in the AI-driven market. By optimizing resources and delivering faster, more accurate results, this project demonstrates the potential to revolutionize search technology, making it a valuable asset for businesses aiming to lead in the AI space.

Leveraging the powerful GPT-4o model, the platform produces unique business ideas based on user-selected industries and personalized inputs. Whether you're an experienced entrepreneur or just starting, Idea Crafter provides a supportive framework for creativity and innovation. How It Works Industry Selection: Users start by selecting an industry that resonates with their interests. This selection narrows the focus and ensures the generated ideas are relevant. Input Gathering: After choosing an industry, users provide key information, including: Budget Constraints: Understanding financial limitations helps generate realistic ideas. Desired Impact: Users specify positive changes they wish to create in their chosen industry. Target Audience: Defining the primary audience allows for more tailored idea generation. VitalGuide is an offline emergency assistance app designed to save lives during natural disasters or situations where connectivity is unavailable. The app addresses the critical need for reliable survival guidance and emergency first-aid instructions. It uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system and the Gemma 2 model to provide quick and accurate answers by leveraging government datasets and trusted sources like PDFs and guides. This is important because FEMA's manual is large and unwieldy, and slower to leaf through than our LLM tool, when the seconds matter. Gemma 2 also has general knowledge that the FEMA manual doesn't have and can be asked follow-up questions if information is unclear. Specialized for individuals, communities, and first responders, it features multilingual support, ensuring accessibility for diverse users. Its unique offline functionality guarantees availability anytime, anywhere. VitalGuide empowers users with lifesaving knowledge, bridging the gap when conventional communication methods fail.

The PRC prototype democratizes space data access via an AI-driven platform. It empowers students, educators, and enthusiasts to explore, understand, and contribute to space science. Core goals include intuitive data access via natural language queries, engaging educational tools, and citizen science participation. The prototype features an AI data retrieval agent (using NLP and a REST API), an interactive educational dashboard (using React/Vue.js and D3.js/Chart.js), and a citizen science portal (with user management and task assignment). The 12-month plan involves R&D, dashboard development, portal creation, and user testing. Expected outcomes: increased accessibility, enhanced education, empowered citizen scientists, and a foundation for future development. The PRC aims to transform space data exploration, making it accessible to all.
