NanoMind is a prototype built for the Agentic Economy on Arc Hackathon that explores a new economic model where autonomous AI agents can buy data, pay APIs, and exchange value in real time. The project uses Arc as the settlement layer, USDC as the payment asset, and Circle Nanopayments with x402-style payment flows to make high-frequency micropayments economically viable. Instead of subscription-based access, NanoMind enables pay-per-action pricing where every API call, agent interaction, or compute task can be priced and settled individually for fractions of a cent. Our prototype demonstrates agent-to-agent commerce through a coordinated workflow where AI agents pay specialized APIs and services, receive results, and deliver value back to users. The project includes a simulated transaction engine showing 50+ micropayments, an interactive dashboard displaying economic proof, and a product concept showing why this model would fail with traditional gas costs but works on Arc. NanoMind demonstrates how programmable money can power an internet where agents do not just reason, but also transact.
