PolyVoice Live is a desktop AI voice translation app built for live, multilingual conversations. It captures microphone audio from common VoIP apps, converts speech to text in real time, applies context-aware correction, translates it, and speaks the result back through natural text-to-speech. Alongside live translation, the app provides captions, meeting summaries, action items, speaker-aware memory, and searchable conversation history so users can understand and reuse what was said after the call ends. The project is designed as a production-ready demo with a polished Electron + FastAPI stack, AMD-focused acceleration, and benchmark tooling to show latency, throughput, and memory performance. It is aimed at making cross-language communication feel immediate, practical, and reliable during meetings, support calls, and collaboration sessions.
