NetExpert is an AI-driven, open-source network expert system designed to address the connectivity challenges faced by rural and underserved areas in Vietnam. This product is a new, self-contained solution that integrates advanced AI technologies to provide personalized network planning and optimization. NetExpert aims to bridge the digital divide by offering affordable and easy-to-install network solutions. The scope of the project includes the following activities and deliverables: 1. Development of an AI-driven open-source network expert system: Creating a system powered by AI to advise and solve network issues for users. 2. Web crawling to collect information about network devices: Using web scraping techniques to gather data about network devices from various online sources. 3. Building and maintaining a database of network devices: Establishing a comprehensive database of network devices and updating it regularly to ensure accuracy and currency. 4. AI-driven recommendation system and GenAI customer interaction: Developing a proprietary AI algorithm for recommendations and a GenAI tool for interactive customer engagement to understand specific user needs. 5. AI-powered network configuration suggestions: Providing optimal network configuration recommendations through an AI-powered system tailored to user needs and conditions. 6. Shopping support and installation instructions: Assisting users in finding and selecting suitable devices and providing detailed installation instructions. 7. Partnerships with telecom providers, ISPs, and local governments. In this Project we have used many different technologies: 1. AI Agent: Uses RAG, Python, FastAPI, and Pandas for intelligent recommendations. 2. Data Processing: Real-time web crawling ensures accurate, updated product data. 3. Backend: Built with Java (Spring Boot) and PostgreSQL for efficiency and scalability. 4. Frontend & UI: Next.js and Figma create an intuitive user experience.

"The idea is good but I would like to have seen how you helped a customer selecting network based on your data that was described in the features."

"Nice project, would be nice to see how the AI comes up with the network configuration"

"A promising approach, a very well-defined value proposition and business strategy. Thoroughly articulated technical stack. It would be interesting to see the team achieving multiple tech stack integration (on the tech side) and true accessibility for the rural users on the interface side. Well done. "

"A very solid demo which makes it clear what you are trying to do. The chat interface is useful for non-technical communities, but would be interesting also to feed more information on factors that impact network design such as construction materials, number of classrooms or spaces, electricity conditions (type of electrification) (I see that you have it in future scenarios - this is very important to actually define the utility of your tool). I find specially useful the creation of the network diagram -not clear on the basis of what information specific devices are being recommend, rather than general specs ( router with the capacity of X or Y). For internet procurers, I could see a lot of value to sense check proposals from internet service providers that may oversell the number of equipment needed for the LAN. Most dependencies are open source. "
