How to get started with StableCode
1. Begin Your Journey
Log in to HuggingFace: Before you dive in, make sure to Log in to HuggingFace. Upon logging in, remember to go through and accept the terms and conditions to ensure a smooth experience.
2. Lay the Foundation
Set Up StableCode: With HuggingFace set up, it's time to bring in StableCode. Follow our straightforward instructions in the Setup Documentation for stableCode-instruct-alpha-3b and stablecode-completion-alpha-3b-4k.
3. Dive Deep & Harness the Power
Explore the Model and Its Use Cases: Understand what StableCode is truly capable of. From its intricate architecture to the myriad of applications, dive into the Model Insights. Familiarize yourself with its functionalities and discover how to leverage it best for your projects.
In case you have any queries or require assistance, our Mentors team on Discord is always here to assist. Dive in, innovate, and let StableCode elevate your coding realm.
How to Participate
Preparation
- Dive deep into StableCode's technology. Make sure to check documentation, tech page and tutorials before the Hackathon Kick-Off
Hack Away
- The Hackathon will officially start with the Kick-Off email. Over 24-hours, design and code using StableCode. Need help? Our team is available to mentor you.
Showcase
- Present your project on the lablab.ai platform by making a submission. As a community member - you will have the opportunity to define the winners and impact on the result!
Ethical Use & Limitations
Stability AI endorses the responsible use of StableCode. Please refrain from utilizing the model for illicit purposes, or any activities associated with significant risks.

🗓️ Where and when
The hackathon will start on August 24th.
The hackathon will take place online on lablab.ai platform and lablab.ai Discord Server. Please register for both in order to participate. To participate click the "Enroll" button at the bottom of the page and read our Hackathon Guidelines and Getting Started Guide.
😅 What about teams?
If you don't have a team, don't worry! You can connect with other participants from all over the world on our dashboard or Discord server. We also recommend checking out our Discord server to find teammates and bounce around ideas. You can join the server here
