This project automates the transcription of healthcare voicemails using advanced speech recognition and NLP, particularly tailored for medical terminology and diverse accents. The goal is to route these transcriptions accurately to the appropriate departments . Using speech-to-text APIs (Google, IBM) and NLP frameworks (spaCy, Med7), the system extracts critical information from voicemails and ensures timely updates to case managers. Key challenges include medical jargon, accent variation, and multilingual support. The solution improves communication efficiency, reduces manual workload, and ensures HIPAA compliance, directly impacting the quality of care for injured workers.
