Software Specialist from Costa Rica with experience in automation, infrastructure, monitoring, APIs, and AI-powered workflows. I work with tools such as Python, Docker, Linux, n8n, Power Automate, IBM Instana, Grafana, local LLMs, and vector databases like Qdrant. I am interested in building practical AI solutions for observability, DevOps, configuration management, documentation analysis, and developer productivity.

Instana Config Pilot is a frontend-first proof of concept. The project helps SRE, DevOps, and platform teams create safer IBM Instana agent configuration files without manually editing large YAML templates. Instana configuration can become difficult to manage because each environment may require different sensors, credentials, tags, and tuning values. Manual edits can introduce indentation errors, incomplete fields, hardcoded secrets, inconsistent metadata, and changes that are hard to review before reaching a real environment. This application turns that workflow into a guided browser experience. Users can load an Instana-style configuration template, detect available com.instana.plugin.* sensor blocks, select and configure sensors visually, define required operational tags, validate missing fields and secret-handling risks, generate configuration.yaml, generate .env.example placeholders, and compare generated YAML against another file. IBM Bob IDE was used as the core development partner for architecture exploration, implementation, refactoring, documentation, and final submission preparation. The project originally targeted a full-stack app with web, API, and MCP-ready integration, but pivoted to a focused frontend-first delivery when BobCoins became a practical hackathon constraint. This preserved the core product value while reducing deployment complexity.
