About me

I am David Alexander Astudillo Muñoz, a Mathematical Civil Engineer from Chile and founder of Baskerville AI. I build advanced AI systems combining mathematical optimization, machine learning, generative AI, and high-performance software engineering. My work includes HoundTrade, an AI-driven ecosystem for market forecasting and execution; HoundMoE, a probabilistic model for time-series forecasting; and Shisa, a reinforcement learning trading framework designed with realistic backtesting, fees, slippage, leverage, and risk controls. For this hackathon, I am focused on building ambitious AI prototypes that are technically rigorous, auditable, and useful in the real world. I am especially interested in applying AMD cloud GPU resources to scalable forecasting, symbolic reasoning, and research tools for complex low-resource domains.
