Sira is an open-source scaffolding CLI built for the new era of AI-assisted development. Instead of wasting hours configuring a project before writing real code, developers can generate production-ready, AI-ready applications in a single command. Sira automates the repetitive setup process: project structure, dependencies, TypeScript configuration, documentation, and AI context files are all generated automatically. Every project comes preconfigured with files like CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, and .cursorrules, allowing AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and IBM Bob to immediately understand the codebase and collaborate effectively from day one. The CLI currently provides multiple production-ready templates: HERMÈS — React + Vite + TypeScript APOLLON — Next.js ARÈS — Node.js ATHÉNA — Django HÉRA — Flask Sira also introduces an intelligent “Agent Mode” powered by watsonx.ai. Instead of manually choosing a stack, developers simply describe their project in natural language. Sira analyzes the request, recommends the most appropriate architecture with a confidence score, and explains its reasoning in real time. Beyond scaffolding, Sira generates a PROJECT.md tailored to the specific application idea, including: recommended dependencies, suggested architecture, AI onboarding instructions, development conventions, and first implementation steps. The goal is simple: remove setup friction so developers can focus entirely on building. Built in under 48 hours with IBM Bob as a development partner, Sira demonstrates how AI-native tooling can radically accelerate modern software development workflows. It is fully open source, MIT licensed, and designed to become a modular ecosystem with future support for plugins, conversational project setup, and custom stack generation.
