FlowGenie is an AI-powered HR onboarding automation platform that turns messy, manual onboarding into a fast, trackable, policy-compliant workflow. HR or managers can use a ChatGPT-style chat to ask company policy questions and get short answers backed by internal documents (RAG) with sources for auditability. When a new employee is created via chat or bulk upload (CSV/XLSX), FlowGenie automatically kicks off an onboarding workflow in n8n that handles key steps like sending a welcome email, provisioning company email/SSO, initiating least-privilege IT access, assigning assets and shipping details, scheduling HR Day 1 and manager 1:1 meetings, assigning an onboarding buddy, collecting compliance documents, granting knowledge base access, and generating a 30-60-90 day plan. Every step updates the employee timeline in real time through backend webhooks using correlation IDs, so you can see exactly what ran, when, and with what outcome. The MVP supports local document upload and indexing, SQLite for zero-setup storage, and “node-ready” mocks for Slack/Calendar/HRMS that can be swapped to real integrations later.
