DevLens is a developer experience (DevEx) and repository intelligence platform engineered to eliminate the friction of codebase onboarding and team collaboration bottlenecks. Built in an intense solo sprint, the platform combines structural code static analysis with human factor sentiment tracking to provide a holistic engineering health checkpoint. The application works across three synchronized core engines: 1. Team Sentiment Engine: Uses lightweight local NLP text-polarity scoring over Git commit histories and PR comment logs to visually map team collaboration trends and isolate friction or developer burnout signals. 2. Architecture Summarizer: Recursively scans local directories across 20+ programming languages to extract functions, classes, and modular relationships while automatically scoring code components into Low, Medium, or High complexity hotspots. 3. Playbook Generator: Connects to the Groq SDK (Llama 3.3 70B architecture) to instantly synthesize all background metrics into a comprehensive Markdown and HTML onboarding manual covering architectural workflows, setup commands, and key entry points. DevLens proves how a single developer utilizing agentic AI collaboration can rapidly build resilient, multi-tiered enterprise tooling.
