OrbitDesk is an AI-native collaborative workspace platform designed to modernize productivity, intelligent automation, and realtime collaboration inside a unified environment. Unlike traditional note-taking applications, OrbitDesk combines modular AI agents, realtime synchronization, and kernel-inspired task orchestration into a modern operating-system-style workspace. Built using Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Zustand, TipTap, Supabase, and Clerk Authentication, the platform delivers a fast, scalable, and highly responsive experience for modern knowledge work. OrbitDesk features a block-based editor, realtime collaboration architecture, autonomous workflows, and a multi-agent system capable of organizing, researching, planning, and automating tasks directly inside the workspace. One of the core innovations behind OrbitDesk is its kernel-style orchestration system. Instead of treating AI actions as isolated prompts, OrbitDesk manages AI workflows, background tasks, autosave operations, and synchronization processes as structured execution pipelines. This allows the platform to suspend long-running tasks, cache execution state, and resume workflows later without interrupting the user experience. The UI/UX philosophy focuses on minimalism, responsiveness, and intelligent interaction design inspired by Notion, Linear, Raycast, and modern operating systems. OrbitDesk emphasizes clean typography, low visual noise, responsive layouts, keyboard-first workflows, and smooth realtime interactions to create a premium collaborative experience.
