dukAnI is an intelligent WhatsApp concierge bot that acts as a personal assistant for travel, dining, and shopping recommendations. Built with NestJS and TypeScript, the bot integrates WhatsApp Web to provide conversational AI experiences powered by Groq's LLaMA 3 model. The system features a modular architecture with specialized services: an Agent module that orchestrates tool usage, a Profile service that maintains user preferences and conversation history, and a Tavily integration for real-time search of hotels, flights, restaurants, and products. Users interact naturally through WhatsApp messages, and the bot learns their preferences over time to provide increasingly personalized recommendations. Key features include intelligent tool selection, contextual conversation memory, budget-aware suggestions, and seamless integration with popular booking and review platforms. The bot maintains user profiles with preferences, favorites, and conversation history, enabling sophisticated personalization. dukAnI demonstrates practical AI application in everyday scenarios, making travel planning and local discovery more accessible through familiar messaging interfaces.
