Rates adjust live to real-world risk: the haversine distance from the customer's home base sets a location band (home, near, away), and unplugging from power doubles the rate while the laptop is on battery. Coverage is purchased on-chain in a single transaction, premiums settle into a seller pool that earns yield through USYC (Circle's yield-bearing stablecoin), and per-second charges batch through Circle x402 so the customer never signs more than one transaction per session. The result is insurance priced like electricity: metered, transparent, and honest about exposure.
