Byron Saltysiak is a technologist and engineering leader who has spent over 20 years in the Media industry. He studied Computer Science at Georgia Tech and started as an intern at Turner Broadcasting in 2000. He stayed at Turner until 2022 rising through the ranks of management and leadership and building systems in the areas of content management, E-commerce, Identity, Data and Video. A life-long learner, Byron has professionally used JS, Python, Java, Ruby, Tcl, and Flash; as well as tinkered with languages like LISP, Clojure, and Elixir. Currently, Byron is spending his time building various Elixir and/or AI based projects, writing articles and mentoring people who are interested in getting into software and tech.
