"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity" I grew up playing rugby, soccer, and basketball. At 14 years old, I switched to tennis, which would eventually take me to the United States for my undergraduate education. I attended the College of Charleston my first year and then transferred to Marist College in New York, seeking a higher athletic scholarship. I was involved in research for four years, on topics ranging from solar panels' environmental impact to implementing AI-powered chatbots in educational institutions. As a senior, my work in Natural Language Processing (NLP) culminated in a paper that was published in CSEDU, one of the biggest international conferences for computer science in education, and recently got selected for full journal publication. These experiences boosted my confidence in solving and tackling complex, real-world issues. My latest efforts in merging my interests with various other sciences include learning quantum computing to solve high-dimensional Matrix Riccati differential equations. Currently, I am exploring Quantum Machine Learning, Computational Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence in Finance, and Behavioral Economics as a PhD student in Neuroeconomics at Claremont Graduate University.
By combining a custom conversant persona and grounded QA, Health-E is able to aid in processing patients, extracting relevant information to fill out forms, and providing advice common knowledge advice on applicable scenarios if prompted with a question. We hope this technology helps cut down healthcare costs by reducing queue times, paperwork, and increasing efficiency overall. Moreover, we envision applications of Health-E's underlying technology beyond the healthcare industry. In particular, regional economics and local communities in developing countries, that now have wide internet access, could greatly benefit from virtual advisors or teachers to supplement the lack of labor supply or poor level of education. We are really proud of what we built and we hope you enjoy both our presentation as well as experimenting with Health-E.
Project Atlas leverages the latest in Artificial Intelligence, Wellness, and Behavioral science to offer users access to a holistic wellness coach in their pocket. After users answer a short questionnaire based on the PERMA+4 wellness model, Atlas generates a comprehensive wellness report, identifies users’ top three areas for wellness improvement, helps users set goals aimed at improving these areas, and suggests some actions to help users get started. Users can then select a goal and interact with Atlas’ in-built AI wellness coach and digital nudging protocols to define a concrete path forward and ensure success throughout their wellness journeys. We hope to offer low cost, personalized wellness coaching that changes and adapts to best suit users’ needs throughout the lifespan and around the world. We envision a world where everyone has access to cutting edge wellness coaching and self-improvement techniques at their fingertips, a world where cost is no longer a prohibitive factor in people realizing their highest potential and living the best lives they possibly can, and a world in which the help we need is always at the push of a button.
