RepoLens is an AI-powered GitHub repository intelligence platform designed to help developers quickly understand and evaluate public repositories. Modern repositories often contain thousands of files, contributors, commits, and complex project structures, making it difficult for developers to rapidly gain meaningful insights. RepoLens solves this problem by providing a clean and interactive analysis dashboard that transforms raw GitHub repository data into visually accessible intelligence. The platform allows users to paste any public GitHub repository URL and instantly receive important repository insights such as stars, forks, open issues, primary programming language, repository activity, and latest commit information. RepoLens uses the GitHub REST API for live repository analysis and presents the data through a modern glassmorphism-inspired user interface with responsive layouts and smooth animations. The project was built using React.js, Vite, Framer Motion, Node.js, Express.js, and deployed using Vercel and Render for full public accessibility. IBM Bob was actively used throughout development to assist with frontend improvements, deployment troubleshooting, backend debugging, workflow optimization, and code enhancement suggestions. By combining AI-assisted development with intuitive repository analytics, RepoLens helps developers work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence while exploring unfamiliar codebases.
