Planning a trip can be overwhelming, especially when managing schedules, activities, and dates across multiple platforms. Our project solves this problem by providing an AI-powered travel planning assistant that creates personalized itineraries based on user preferences and automatically converts them into calendar events. Using IBM watsonx for intelligent itinerary generation and Streamlit for an intuitive interface, users can easily generate detailed travel plans and download them as ICS files compatible with Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar. This solution targets travelers, students, families, and professionals who want a fast and organized way to plan trips. Key benefits include time savings, automation, calendar syncing, and a user-friendly experience. Unique features such as instant ICS generation and AI-driven customization make the tool both practical and impactful.
