About me
My name is Oleksandr, working at 7 Sensing Software as a Machine Learning Engineer bringing multi-modal sensing, artificial intelligence and computer vision to the edge and on-cloud. I have 6+ years of experience working on a range of computer vison tasks applying classical ML and DL, from research to production. My daily tasks include: • Architecting, building, developing, scaling ML and Computer Vision systems • Solving Computational photography challenges • Optimising solution performance for Mobile and Edge Devices (GPU / NPU / TPU) • Deploying ML models to micro-service architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Originally coming from an Applied Physics background, I found my passion for AI and CS during my studies at Erasmus + Joint Master Degree COSI (Color in Science and Industry). The program is focused on a strong collaboration with research institutions and industrial partners in ML and imaging field. I studied and worked abroad in four different countries and got to experience research and development from different cultures (France, Finland, Japan, Spain). Some random facts about myself: • 🌍🎓 Earned 4 Master’s degrees in Engineering from 4 different countries and have traveled to over 35 countries—constantly learning and exploring. • 🕶️🪡 Fashion Enthusiast: Passionate about fashion since 2014, with experience in modeling, photography, and creating innovative fashion tech. I’ve sourced high-value vintage pieces for a fraction of the cost and built apps that connect people to luxury alternatives. I don't follow trends but I am aware of them :) • 🎶🎧 Passionate vinyl collector and music lover, like to create music on synthesizers from time to time. • ☕️ Specialty Coffee Ambassador, enjoying daily filter coffee while perfecting my espresso-making skills. • 🏠👽 Built my own smart home ecosystem because, why not?
