CHAZON is an easy-to-use medical imaging application for viewing and exploring patient scans such as X‑rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It supports images saved in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) format, which is the standard hospitals use to store scans together with basic exam details. CHAZON includes built-in artificial intelligence (AI) tools that help highlight possible findings and a fast case-matching feature to find similar studies for comparison. The project runs locally or inside Docker containers for quick demos and prototyping, and a demo mode with sample images makes it simple for newcomers to try without setup. CHAZON is intended for learning, research, and rapid clinical prototyping: it makes loading, viewing, and comparing image series straightforward while providing options to protect patient privacy through de‑identification. Advanced users can connect the app to external services for similarity search or deploy the backend to cloud hosting.
