GreySignal is an AI-powered geopolitical and business expansion risk intelligence platform designed to support organizations in evaluating international market-entry decisions. The platform combines real-time public data, business-specific operating context, machine learning, and explainable AI to generate transparent country risk assessments. Users complete a guided assessment covering factors such as investment size, entry mode, supply-chain dependence, regulatory sensitivity, and target market. GreySignal then gathers economic, governance, trade, weather, currency, and news data from trusted public sources, processes the information using an ensemble of XGBoost, CatBoost, and LightGBM models, and produces a comprehensive risk score with confidence intervals and feature-level explanations. Beyond numerical scoring, the platform provides evidence-backed recommendations, specialist AI insights, event detection, sentiment analysis, forecasting, SHAP explainability, and an interactive knowledge graph to help decision-makers understand the reasoning behind every assessment. Built with React, FastAPI, LangGraph, and SQLite, GreySignal emphasizes transparency, reliability, and resilience by continuing to operate even when optional external services are unavailable.
