AuraOS is a project I started with the idea of making computers feel more natural and intelligent to interact with. Instead of building another AI assistant that simply answers questions, I wanted to create an AI operating layer that becomes an active part of the operating system. AuraOS allows users to communicate naturally through voice and, eventually, hand gestures while safely interacting with the computer. It can understand user intent, execute operating system tasks, assist with coding, organize workflows, and gradually learn user preferences over time. The system is designed with a modular architecture consisting of a conversation engine, planning module, safety layer, memory system, and cross-platform executors for macOS, Windows, and Linux. My goal is to build an AI companion that doesn’t just respond to commands but understands context, adapts to the user’s workflow, and becomes a reliable partner for everyday productivity, development, and automation.
