InteriorAI is an AI-powered interior design web application that makes professional-grade room design accessible to everyone. Built for homeowners, renters, and anyone who's ever felt overwhelmed by the prospect of furnishing a space, InteriorAI combines a guided design wizard, real furniture shopping, and AI-powered visualization into one seamless experience. The process starts with a simple seven-step wizard: users name their project, select a room type (living room, bedroom, office, etc.), enter dimensions, choose a style (Modern, Minimalist, Bohemian, etc.), set a budget, and optionally upload photos of their actual room. AI then curates real furniture product recommendations across categories like sofas, tables, lighting, and decor — each with prices, descriptions, and direct store links. A running total keeps the budget in check. Once furniture is selected, Google Gemini generates two photorealistic AI room visualizations (Elegant and Cozy variants) that place the chosen products into the user's actual space. Users can save designs to their personal gallery, export them as high-resolution images or comprehensive PDF reports that include the full furniture list and cost breakdown. The app is built with React and TypeScript for the frontend, styled with Tailwind CSS, uses Supabase for authentication and data persistence, and runs AI generation through Supabase Edge Functions powered by Google Gemini. It's fully responsive for mobile, supports session persistence, and allows users to revisit or refine their designs anytime.
