Lumnia Ultra is an advanced dental AI platform designed to modernize digital smile design, shade matching, and aesthetic treatment planning through computer vision and facially guided analysis. The project focuses on solving one of the major limitations in current dental aesthetic workflows: inconsistency between facial harmony, tooth proportions, shade perception, and restorative outcomes. The system combines facial landmark detection, occlusal plane analysis, smile simulation, and AI-assisted shade interpretation to generate highly realistic and clinically relevant restorative previews. Unlike conventional smile design tools that rely heavily on manual adjustments and subjective visual judgment, Lumnia Ultra aims to provide standardized, data-driven outputs with improved precision and repeatability. The platform is being developed as a hybrid system where AI reasoning works alongside geometric and anatomical constraints rather than replacing clinical decision-making. Its long-term vision includes integration into prosthodontic, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry workflows, helping clinicians improve communication, planning efficiency, and patient visualization before treatment begins. Lumnia Ultra also explores applications in restorative mockups, veneer planning, facially driven tooth positioning, and future CAD/CAM integration, with a strong emphasis on realism, clinical safety, and practical usability in real dental settings.
