SignBridge is an innovative cross-platform Edge AI application designed to bridge the communication gap between spoken English and sign language. By leveraging advanced on-device AI models, SignBridge transcribes speech into text using Whisper, simplifies complex sentences with Groq-powered LLaMA models, and translates the result into SignWriting and Sign Animation. The app runs fully offline for privacy and accessibility, with optional online enhancements for improved translation quality. Users can capture audio from both the microphone and system sources, making it ideal for live conversations, meetings, or media playback. SignBridge empowers Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to access spoken content in real time, on any device, with a modern, user-friendly interface. The project is built with a focus on broad utility, robust performance, and seamless cross-platform support on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Snapdragon X Elite devices.
