Sentinel.AI is a comprehensive security solution designed to transform passive surveillance systems into proactive, intelligent sentinels. It tackles the "blind eye of surveillance," where the widespread presence of cameras in public and private spaces is not matched by an ability to interpret or act on events, leading to dangerous delays that can cost lives. How It Works The system's core process is to Detect, Assess, and Respond. It leverages artificial intelligence models to analyze video and audio from existing cameras, providing a deep, multi-modal understanding of events. Detection: A Video Agent extracts key visual frames to describe the scene, while an Audio Agent transcribes speech and identifies critical emotional cues. Assessment: An Incident Deduction Agent, coordinated by an Orchestrator Agent, combines these video and audio inputs to understand the full context and classify the incident. The system uses LLM-powered contextual reasoning for accurate classification. Response: Finally, an Alert Agent generates a concise, enriched alert and automatically dispatches it via SMS to the most appropriate emergency service, ensuring a rapid and informed response. Technical Architecture Sentinel.AI is built on a modern technology stack designed for real-time, responsive deployments. AI Analysis: Complex task management and AI-driven analysis are powered by Groq. The system uses a modular, multi-agent architecture with LangChain and LangGraph to specialize in critical tasks. Backend: The backend uses FastAPI to handle video, audio, and API requests. Frontend: A user interface is provided through React. Smart Alerts: Automated SMS alerts are sent using Twilio.
