FortiTrade AI is a fraud-aware trading bot built for the AMD Developer Hackathon's Unicorn Track. Most trading bots optimize purely for profit — nobody's watching for fraud. FortiTrade AI closes that gap by putting a protective layer in front of every trade. Here's how it works: a live strategy engine reads real-time Binance price data using a moving-average crossover to propose buy/sell signals. Before any trade executes, it passes through a rule-based fraud engine that scores six risk factors — rapid-fire trading, volume spikes, off-hours activity, new/unrecognized devices, location mismatches, and rapid liquidation patterns (a classic pump-and-dump signature). Flagged trades receive a plain-language risk explanation generated by Gemma AI via Fireworks AI, so users understand exactly why a trade was flagged instead of facing a silent block. Only approved or acknowledged trades are executed for real on Binance Spot Testnet, with a full audit trail logged for every decision. The frontend is a React/Vite dashboard with live-polling trade signals, real-time fraud alerts, profile management, and full account control. The backend is a Flask API with JWT authentication, PostgreSQL persistence via SQLAlchemy and Alembic migrations, and real integrations with Binance and Fireworks AI — not simulated responses. Every trade in the world reduces to a buy or a sell. What's missing industry-wide isn't more order types — it's a transparent layer that catches account takeover, manipulation patterns, and bot malfunctions before funds move, and explains itself in plain language when it does.
