I am a full-time faculty member (Lecturer) at Northern Kentucky University, where I lecture on American History, and the Vietnam War, I produce 10 unique podcasts for faculty and students, as well as liaise with regional history museums. I am also pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Change at Baylor University, where I am expected to graduate in May 2026. My core competencies include American history, course development, student success, public history, and museum administration. I was recently awarded the 2023 "Champion for Success" award for my work as a civilian educator ensuring the academic success of the universities student service members/veterans. In addition to lecturing, I am the Assistant Director and Collections Manager at Fort Thomas Military and Community History Museum, where I manage the museum's 10,000+ artifact collection. I have created exhibits, rescued rare documents from destruction, and handled stolen artifacts. I am passionate about preserving and sharing the history of Fort Thomas and its military and community heritage. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as skills in cataloging, photographing, and exhibiting historical materials.
