Space exploration generates massive amounts of scientific data, mission reports, satellite information, and research updates every day. However, accessing and understanding this information can often be difficult for students, enthusiasts, and even researchers due to scattered resources and highly technical documentation. To solve this problem, we built AstroMind – AI Powered Space Mission Assistant, an intelligent assistant designed to make space exploration data more accessible, interactive, and engaging. The application uses pretrained AI models, NASA datasets, and real-time APIs to answer user questions related to space missions, planets, astronauts, satellites, launches, and astronomical discoveries in a conversational format. The platform combines natural language processing with a modern web interface to provide accurate and context-aware responses. Users can interact with the assistant using both text and voice input, creating a more immersive experience. The system is capable of understanding user queries, retrieving relevant information, and generating meaningful responses in real time. One of the key highlights of the project is its integration with NASA APIs and publicly available space datasets. This enables the assistant to provide updated information about missions, space imagery, astronomy data, and scientific insights. The project also focuses heavily on user experience by providing a clean and responsive frontend interface built for accessibility and ease of use. Key Features AI-powered conversational assistant for space-related queries Integration with NASA APIs and space datasets Voice-enabled interaction using speech recognition Real-time response generation using pretrained language models Modern and responsive React-based user interface Interactive exploration of missions, planets, launches, and astronomy topics Scalable backend architecture using Flask and Python
