These gaps can lead to missed warning signs, delayed treatments, and added stress for families and caregivers who simply want reassurance that their loved ones are safe. Hence AAROK. AAROK, inspired by the Tamil word “AAROKiyam” (meaning health), is an advanced AI Smart Patient Monitoring System designed to transform the way critical and remote healthcare is delivered. The system continuously collects vital patient data and decentralizes it, enabling secure and instant access for hospitals, doctors, nurses, and caregivers. This helps eliminate long queues in hospitals and ensures timely medical intervention, especially for emergency cases and senior citizens under home care. AAROK integrates AI analysis using Gemini agents to detect anomalies in vital signs and provide actionable insights. The platform is built using React for the frontend, Express.js for the backend, and SQLite3 for lightweight storage. While Vercel deployment faced limitations, the system is successfully hosted on a dedicated server at aarok.gmindia.tech, ensuring reliability and performance. AAROK aims to make patient monitoring smarter, faster, and more accessible across varied healthcare scenarios.
